  • Cancellations made 31 days or more before the policy start date will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made within 30-15 days of the policy start date will incur a 5% fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14-8 days of the policy start date will incur a 30% fee.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the policy start date will incur a 50% fee.

Cancellations requested 24 hours or more prior to the policy start date are eligible for a refund. However, any requests submitted thereafter or on the policy start date will not be eligible for any refund.

Kindly be advised that any cancellations made prior to the policy start date are subject to the mentioned cancellation fees, regardless of the booking date. For example, if a policy is booked 15 days before its start date and canceled on the same day, a 5% deduction will apply.

Trip Interruption or Curtailment:
If your trip is disrupted and you have to shorten your trip and return directly to the home country or the trip's origin due to the following circumstances:

  • Major travel events prevent you from continuing your scheduled trip.
  • Serious injury or sickness causing you to discontinue the trip, as advised by a medical professional.
  • The aircraft or vessel you are on is hijacked.
  • Unexpected death, injury, or sickness of your close relative or travel companion.
  • We will reimburse up to the Sum Insured (SI) limits specified in Part I of the Policy Schedule for non-refundable expenses for air, land, or sea travel through a common carrier/public carrier for the canceled part of the trip.


  • Interruption of the trip, either wholly or in part, is done at the instance of the Common Carrier/Public Carrier for any reason, including operational and technical reasons.
  • Interruption of the trip, either wholly or in part, done by the travel agent.
  • Interruption of the trip, either wholly or in part, is done at the instance of the authority governing the Common Carrier/Public Carrier or the government.
