Yes, this policy covers all kinds of Sickness and injuries but excludes any pre-existing diseases
What is the procedure to launch Air evacuation for a sick or injured trekker?
If the insured trekker is seriously unwell or badly injured, please call the emergency numbers given on your medical rescue card. Our expert assistance team and the high-altitude doctors will assess the situation and will launch the evacuation on their recommendation once we receive approval from the claims teams. A typical evacuation can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on the situation and weather conditions.
Are the coverage and rates customizable for my expedition?
No, this is a standardized policy with fixed coverage and rates for all Expedition and for all the routes on the mountain.
